Carlos Ledesma, Joins 1stWEST Mergers & Acquisitions LLC As Managing Director
1stWEST Mergers & Acquisitions LLC is pleased to announce its Latin American expansion into Peru and the appointment of Carlos Ledesma as a Managing Director.
Carlos Ledesma has a comprehensive knowledge of the Peruvian business and corporate finance arena. His focus and expertise is on banking, finance, negotiating and structuring transactions and due-diligence. Carlos has held senior executive positions, managing the business areas of important Peruvian financial institutions that include Banco Continental del Perú, Interbank and Banco Nuevo Mundo. Carlos has also served at INDECOPI, the Peruvian government institution for the protection of free markets. He is frequently published in banking and microfinance journals, and on the website AlCierre.com. Mr. Ledesma currently advises companies on investment, equity valuations, banking and finance. At present, he teaches Banking at San Ignacio de Loyola University.
Carlos received his B.S. Degree in Economics from Federico Villarreal University and his MBA from ESAN’s Business School in Lima, Perú. Mr. Ledesma’s personal interest includes writing, tennis, and many outdoor activities in Lima, Perú.
