Gilberto (Gil) Cisneros, Joins 1stWEST Mergers & Acquisitions LLC As A Senior Advisor - Latin America.
1stWEST Mergers & Acquisitions LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Gil Cisneros as a Senior Advisor – Latin America.
Gil Cisneros is President and CEO of the Chamber of the Americas (www.chamberoftheamericas.com) which he co-founded in 2001 and is Chairman of the Chamber of the Americas Foundation. In 1993 he co-founded the USA-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Rocky Mountain Region, and was its first President and Executive Director. Prior to his position with the USA – Mexico Chamber, Cisneros served a seven year term as Regional Administrator for the United States Small Business Administration. Hispanic Magazine in 2002 recognized Gil with the 2002 Hispanic Achievement Award, “USA-Latin America Friendship Award." The Mexican government honored him as Businessman of the Year for the Rocky Region in 2000. In 1991, Hispanic Business Magazine honored Gil as one of the most influential Hispanics in the United States.
Gil received his BA from Adams State College in 1970 and his MA from the University of Colorado in 1972. Based in Lakewood, Colorado, Gil will play a critical role in his position as Senior Advisor – Latin America and guide 1stWEST Mergers & Acquisitions in its continued expansion efforts throughout Latin America.
