James Duncan, Joins 1stWEST Mergers & Acquisitions LLC As Managing Director

James Duncan brings over 20 years of experience in building and running management consulting organizations, reorganizing Fortune 100 companies, building de novo financial services companies and running large complex global organizations. He has extensive work experience in the areas of strategic planning, business optimization, partnerships and sponsorships for numerous companies in various industries throughout North America.
James has a strong public and private company leadership background that includes Executive Vice President, Business Development and Chief Marketing Officer for PartnersFirst which is the affinity credit card division within Western Alliance Bancorp, Senior Vice President, Global Relations Manager for Visa USA where he managed all worldwide business and operational aspects for Visa’s largest financial institution member, Director of Worldwide CRM Programs for IBM Rational Software and Vice President of Marketing for DiaLogos, Inc.
Based in Kennett Square, PA, James currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Junior Achievement of Delaware. James has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont.
