Sue Bury is the Managing Director and is responsible for sourcing new business opportunities for 1stWEST M&A. Sue has over twenty five years of diverse experience assisting mid-size companies with product development and design, product positioning, packaging, manufacturing, production, patent and trade-marking and comprehensive brand communications programs for consumer and service-driven products. Ms. Bury has held executive marketing positions with successful, high profile private and public companies in diverse industries, including sports marketing, health and beauty, fitness, wellness, automotive, hardware, housewares and financial services. Sue is currently Vice President and Director of Marketing Communications for 1stWEST Financial Corporation. Previously, Sue was President of a premier public relations company in Denver, where she developed and managed targeted communications programs and national public relations campaigns for clients challenging her to build national brand awareness for their products and/or services. Sue has appeared on QVC Shopping Network, launching products for companies looking to gain insight on their positioning in the market. Ms. Bury maintains an extensive network of successful national representatives of organizations as well as key media contacts in broadcast, print and radio.

Sue holds a B.S. Degree from The University of Iowa. Ms. Bury is an avid equestrian and enjoys many Colorado outdoor activities, including running, mountain biking and cross-country skiing.
